![]() ![]() I find that sometimes games want to tell you all about this great world they've made before they've given you a reason to care about it. ![]() I bought the game to try it, since Steam allows refunds now. The last games that really drew me in to play nonstop were DA:I and Ori (but Ori was short). I simply get tired of these types of action games, whereas good RPGs will draw me in to keep playing because of their interesting worldbuilding, etc (I played Witcher 3 basically in all my free time). I have many other unfinished games on my plate, like Far Cry 4, Shadow of Mordor, GTA V, but none draw me in like Witcher 3 or a good RPG does. However, I've heard the writing is great and I just want something else to get into. Of course I also saw PoE, but skipped on it because I didn't really play cRPGs back in the 90s, so didn't know if I would like its classic systems. ![]() There aren't that many great RPGs these days. Now I'm missing its rich world and characters, itching for another one to explore. I just finished Witcher 3 twice, and clocked 172 hours in it.
